Hurricane Ike Update

As you may or may not know, we live in Houston, TX and were directly hit by Hurricane Ike this past weekend. As we are still without power, I will be unable to update this blog for the immediate future.

Luckily our house was not too badly damaged. Our hearts go out to all those who are still without power (like us) and also to those who lost everything. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.

Everyone here in Houston seems to be banding together and working hard to get things back to normal. I have a ton of ideas for posts now that we have been through this that I hope you will find useful when I am able to finally write them.

Please wish us and all the people in southeast Texas luck in the recovery efforts. We hope to be back in business soon and hope that you can bear with us during the hiatus.
