At my job I find myself eating alone in hotel/restaurants quite a bit. Now I don’t care what others think of me but I’ve noticed that compared to before I was married people seem more accepting of me being alone when they see that I’m married. I guess they figure that there is someone who thinks I’m okay to be around so I must be normal.
It used to be that if you talked to yourself you were crazy; now you’re just on your cellphone. It’s the same with dancing/singing/rolling on the floor by yourself. But include a baby into the scenario and suddenly you go from weirdo to attentive father. Go figure.
