Willow is 8.5 months old and I am still looking for teeth and crawling. She is getting close with the crawling, army crawling her way around, and I can feel the little teeth buds underneath her bottom gums.
I know my daughter and I know she does things when she is ready.
We have been giving her cheerios to eat and she can handle them okay but she drops them a lot. Yesterday we gave her some Gerber Graduates Graham Crackers and she did fabulously!! She is also eating Stage 3 foods with ease.
So I sit here, watching her drag herself around the house, get stuck under the bouncer, see the high chair and sit up to move it back and forth, throw the ball back to me and giggle in delight and I am in awe. Did I mention how she gets excited when she sees a light switch because David is teaching her how to turn the lights on and off?
In the last 8.5 months she has gone from being completely helpless to being able to move around on her own. I keep telling myself that she will not be 2 years old and toothless and not walking but that 2-year mark seems both far away and close at the same time.
