A Grandparents Wisdom? - Playing and Toys

My grandmother (who is 96 and likes to remind me of that every time we talk) gave us some advice on letting Willow play.

"You should train that baby to play in a playpen. That way you don't have the toys all over the house."

I always either tell her "That's a good idea" or "We'll have to think about that." because I don't want her to think I don't appreciate her advice.

I would never have Willow playing exclusively in a playpen. I think she should be able to explore her world and even though it means more supervision, I don't mind!! I love to see her discover new things and I surely don't mind picking up her toys!!
