Pamper Yourself!!

Let me just preface this with saying that when I endorse a product here on Mommy Vomitpants, I am not being paid (in any way) to do so. Sometimes I feel like you might think that I am just all about advertising for corporations, but that is not the case. Would I like to advertise for big corporations? SURE!! But no one has come calling yet and I am not holding my breath that they will. Anyway, I just like telling people about some of the things I find here and there and if I have a pretty banner link it's there because I made it myself for your viewing pleasure.

I am sure most of you already know about Aveeno, but I just discovered it and since I love it so much, I thought I would share it with you.

I used to be a Mary Kay consultant, using their TimeWise products in particular. I love Mary Kay, they are fantabulous products, but it can be expensive. Since I am no longer a consultant I thought I'd look for something new. I had seen commercials but when I was in Target yesterday I went looking for Aveeno and bought some.

Let me start right off with telling you that this stuff smells absolutely wonderful. I love the smell. It's clean and refreshing. One thing about Mary Kay products is they either have no scent or are just slightly scented. This was both good and bad. The bad (for me) was the daytime anti-wrinkle cream. it has SPF 30 (just like Aveeno) but you could smell the sunblock and I didn't like that (It was one of the only complaints I had about Mary Kay). When I use the Aveeno Positively Ageless Firming Daily Moisturizer, there is no sunblock smell.

At night I use the Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads followed by the Aveeno Positively Ageless Firming Night Cream. The pads created a very nice foam and they have a rough side (for exfoliation) and a smooth side. The cream is not greasy and they both smell very nice.

In the morning when I am showering, use the Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser and follow it up with the daily moisturizer I already mentioned. I leave the house with my skin feeling clean and refreshed!

So, pamper yourself a bit and give Aveeno a try!! I am only 32 years old but I think that the fight against aging should start early, BEFORE wrinkles make their appearance, don't you?
